Really love these photos by pitegoff and calla virgina. They are honestly like nothing I have really seen before. Is there something of the computer screen about them? Flat, reflective, disguising, shimmering, shining? Not sure. Maybe it is just me.

Also enjoyed checking out their website sb95.com - I wish I could go to Art Camp and attend the lecture series, or see some of the performances, or maybe just hang out in the countryside...looks like fun.

The ever inspirational Owl Foreigner found these beautiful, strange and sad photos of "dates" at a U.S. military base bar in 1960s Phillipines.

What became of these women?
