Last Weekend: A Photo Essay and Some Minor Blabbing
I am not sure if these photos really go together or not...but it is good evidence of our busy last weekend!
We went to finally see the WACK show and the Olafur Eliasson installations at PS1. It was so much fun! I thought the shows were really great. The Olafur Eliasson pieces were really breathtaking. I loved them. I need to go back to the MOMA to see the things he has there. I missed them last time because it was the opening night and his rooms were for "members only"...sheesh.
We also went to see the Daniel Richter show at David Zwirner gallery in Chelsea. That was a great show to see. I am not too familar with his work so it was a nice introduction, lots of painterly effects and spots of bright colour which I always really like - (plus many other smart things going on of course....)

On Sunday night we went to see Harmony Korine's new movie Mister Lonely - it was.....hmmmm....strange to say the least. I am probably not the best person to ask because Gummo scared the pants off me...so there you go.
The rest of the weekend was taken up by lots of eating - including a lovely meal at a friends house, some walking through Queens, and probably a drink or two here and there. Pretty good all round.

Thursday already tomorrow...oh boy...
Hopefully I will have more projects to show by Friday - fingers crossed!
